ADD ON RUBBER
I highly recommend adding in extra rubbing into your kit as our first stamps aren't always perfect. Plus if you plan to carve with a friend it will be helpful to have extra sheets of rubber.
ADD ON AN EXTRA CARVING TOOL
Add in an extra Handle and nibs, that way you can have a friend join you for a craft making night and you can split the cost of one kit vs buying two kits. Create for parents/kids to learn together, crafty friends, or a fun date night! Comes with an additional handles and 3x gouges.
A few tips to keep in mind:
- You get access to the new Essential Stamp Carving Course!
- Includes our newest stamp carving booklet!
- Disclaimer: This kit includes sharp tools, always carve away from yourself. Age 14+, supervised
- Start small, do a few practice stamps before embarking on carving a logo or address stamp
- Carve in long continuous motions vs many small cuts - this will give you smoother lines
- This rubber is thick enough to be used without a mount

Love it!
Came with a bunch of tools to make my first stamp. There was a piece of ceramic(?) and I don’t know if that’s a backing or not. Definitely need a backing to make sure you’re stamping with even pressure. Otherwise you get little black dots in places you already carved out.
